I think, at a child's birth, if a mother could ask a fairy godmother to endow it with the most useful gift, that gift should be curiosity. - Eleanor Roosevelt |
About UsReady, Set, Grow: Early Learning Matters is a statewide campaign to promote public policies and public investments that make high quality early education and care a top priority for our state. Learning begins at birth. Parents are a child’s most important teachers. However, in today’s society most parents want help. Agencies and organizations from all sectors of early education and care have made a commitment to partner with parents to lead the way to ensure higher quality learning experiences for all children ages birth to five, regardless of ability, special need, or family income status. Through this partnering, children throughout Wisconsin will get the learning foundation they need. Programs with educated staff, small group sizes and parent involvement will help pave the way for Wisconsin’s children to have the social skills, knowledge and self-confidence they need to be successful, life-long learners. Ready, Set, Grow will ensure that every child is ready to grow, ready to learn and ready to succeed in school and in life. |
